| This full-day tour gives guests a taste of southern
Thailand. The town of Nakhon Si Thammarat is located 160-km
south of Koh Samui. After an early pick-up, we head out
to the boat pier at Nathon for the ferry crossing (approximately
1.5 hours) to the mainland. In Nakhon Sri Thammarat, we
will visit an old Chinese pottery workshop, followed by
the National Museum of Antiquities. Following a buffet
lunch at a typical Thai restaurant, we head to one of
highlights of the day, a visit to Ban Nang Thalung, home
of the famous puppeteer Khun Suchart Subsin who has performed
for his Majesty the King. We then visit Wat Koa Poon,
a stunning hill top temple. A visit to "Nam Tok Phrom
Lok" ends this tour of the south. |
