Description Duration
First stop is the province's landmark suspension bridge. We then head to an elephant training camp for a one-hour ride on the back of a jumbo. The tour continues by boat for an exciting trip over the Pai River, the longest river in Mae Hong Son - at 180-km. We then visit the Padong Village of the Long neck Karen people at Baan Huay Sua Tao. These women wear numerous brass rings around their elongated necks, which gained them the nickname "Giraffe Women". After lunch, we head back to the city to visit Wat Phra Thad Doi Kong Mu, know as the "Temple on the hill". Built 150 years-ago it contains some fascinating relics of the Lord Buddha brought from India.
