DAY 1 : BANGKOK – CHIANG MAI (L, D)
Transfer from Bangkok hotels to Domestic Airport for flight TG 102 (08:30 - 09:35 hrs) to Chiang Mai. Greeted by Turismo Thai staff and transfer to Lotus Pang Suan Kaew hotel. We start this tour with a visit to the holiest temple in the Chiang Mai region: Wat Prathat Doi Suthep (a.d.1384), a temple containing a much-revered Buddhist relic. A spectacular panoramic view of Chiang Mai can be seen from this point, 3,500 feet above sea level. Lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon we visit the Thai Home Industry villages at Bor Sang and Sankampaeng to see the renowned umbrella making village where skilled artisans make colourful hand-painted paper parasols. Guests will also see the traditional ways of creating lacquerware, carving teak wood, furniture making, and other craft industries such as celadon pottery, silverware and jewellery. In the evening we offer a typical Kantoke dinner with various shows and performances of the hill tribes of northern Thailand.

DAY 2 : CHIANG MAI – MAE HONG SON (B, D)
American breakfast at hotel, then transfer to Chiang Mai International Airport for flight TG 190 (10:00 - 10:35 hrs). Arrival at Mae Hong Son airport, to be welcomed by Turismo Thai staff and transfer to hotel. No lunch included. The afternoon is at leisure to stroll around Mae Hong Son. Dinner and overnight at Mae Hong Son Hotel.

DAY 3 : MAE HONG SON (B, L, D)
American breakfast at hotel, followed by a full day of soft adventure and culture. This tour includes a long-tailed boat tour along the Pai River, an elephant ride (1 hour) through the jungle and the highlight of the day, a visit to the Long Necked Karen Hill Tribe. These women wear numerous brass rings around their elongated necks, hence the nickname “Giraffe Women”. Lunch en route at a local restaurant. Return to hotel for dinner and overnight.

DAY 4 : MAE HONG SON – CHIANG MAI – BANGKOK (B)
American Breakfast at hotel, followed by a stroll around the fresh morning market at Mae Hong Son and then visit the impressive Phra Thad Doi Kong Moo Temple for a stunning view of the area. No lunch included. Transfer from hotel to Mae Hong Son Airport for departure to Chiang Mai International Airport, with a connecting flight to Bangkok. Connect to International Airport for flight to hotel.
