DAY 1: BANGKOK – CHIANG MAI
Transfer clients from Bangkok hotels to Bangkok Domestic Airport for flight
TG 102 (08.30 - 09.35 hrs) to Chiang Mai. Arrival at Chiang Mai Airport,
welcomed by Turismo Thai representative and transfer to the clients’ choice
of hotel. No lunch included. In the afternoon we visit the Thai Home Industry
villages at Bor Sang and Sankampaeng to see the renowned umbrella making
village where skilled artisans make colourful hand-painted paper parasols.
Guests will also see the traditional ways of creating lacquerware, teak
wood carvings, furniture making, and other craft industries such as celadon
pottery, silverware and jewellery. Return to hotel. No dinner included.

DAY 2: CHIANG MAI (B, D)
American breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, we drive into the mountain
range and pay a visit to the holiest temple in the Chiang Mai region:
Wat Prathat Doi Suthep (a.d.1384). This shrine contains the much-revered
Buddhist relic. From this high point, 3,500 feet above sea level, guests
will get a spectacular panoramic view of Chiang Mai province. We then
visit one of the nearby White Meo villages. Return back to the hotel.
No lunch included. The afternoon is completely at leisure, so guests can
stroll around the city for shopping and sightseeing, or enjoy a dip in
the hotel swimming pool. The evening is reserved for a Kantoke dinner
- a traditional and very informal northern Thai dinner served by charming
northern beauties clad in local costumes. Overnight at guests’ specified
hotel. The other option is to visit the famous Chiang Mai Night Bazaar,
for souvenirs, clothing and a myriad of other items. Remember, bargaining
is a must!
DAY 3: CHIANG MAI (B)
American breakfast at the hotel. The morning remains at leisure. No lunch
included. In the afternoon, we transfer guests to Chiang Mai International
Airport for flight TG 111 (14:15 – 15:25). Arrival at Bangkok International
Airport and transfer to specified Bangkok hotel.
