DAY 1 : CHIANGMAI – CHIANG RAI (L)
Transfer clients from Chiang Mai hotels to travel along one of the most scenic routes to Chiang Rai. En route, we will pay a visit to an elephant training camp to see the magnificent beasts at work (no ride included, optional service). We then continue north in the direction of Thaton. Thai set lunch en route at a local restaurant. After lunch, we board long tail boats for an exciting 4-hour long tailed boat ride from Thaton to Chiang Rai. En route we will stop to visit local hill tribe villages, built in picturesque locations on the banks of the Maekok River. In the late afternoon, we arrive at the Chiang Rai boat landing from where it is only a short transfer to guests’ chosen hotels. No dinner included in the package. Overnight at Chiang Rai hotel.

DAY 2 : CHIANG RAI – CHIANG MAI (B, L)
American breakfast at hotel. Early morning transfer from hotel to Mae Chan to visit hill tribes, and then continue to Mae Sai, a small trading town. We then proceed to visit the exact spot where Thailand, Laos and Myanmar (Burma) meet, called the Golden Triangle. Lunch at the Imperial Golden Triangle Resort. We then visit the historical city of Chiang Saen, before transfering to Chiang Rai Airport for the flight for Chiang Mai. Then transfer to chosen Chiang Mai Hotel.
