Chile - A unique destination of contrasts
Chile is a land of contrasts sandwiched between the Andes and the Pacific Ocean stretching 4300km long yet only 180km wide. It is a country easy to fall in love with due to its natural landscapes of wild beauty particularly in Patagonia and the Lakes District, its modern & cosmopolitan capital - Santiago at the foot of the Andes, the Atacama Desert with ancestral indigenous cultures , and the land of Polynesian origin - Easter Island.
The diversity of its climates & landscapes, its abrupt geography and its range of delicious cuisine all make Chile a destination in which one can enjoy nature to the full, in its most varied expressions.
When to go
Chile presents a full range of climates. Santiago and the middle region is best from September to April , Lakes District & Patagonia is best from October to April and Northern Chile is good all year round.
What to see
